Data Requests
Use this process for privacy and personal-data questions relating to information submitted to MDM PASS.
1. Requests you can make
Depending on applicable law, you may ask what personal information MDM holds about you, request correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. You may also ask a question about how a specific submission is being used.
2. How to submit
Use the Ideas & Requests page and select “Privacy or data request”. Include the email or reference used in the original submission and explain what you are asking MDM to do.
3. Identity verification
To protect users, MDM may ask for reasonable evidence that the requester is the person connected to the record before disclosing, changing or deleting data. Do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate protected channel.
4. Review and response
Requests are reviewed according to the type of data, the request, applicable law, security needs and any valid retention obligations. If MDM cannot complete a request, the reason will be explained where appropriate.
5. Business and third-party records
Requests concerning a company record or another person may require proof of authority. A public form submission does not give one user access to another user’s or organisation’s data.
