Accessibility
MDM aims to make the public platform usable across devices, languages and different access needs.
1. Design target
The platform is being developed toward accessible structure, keyboard navigation, readable contrast, clear focus states, semantic headings, labelled form controls and responsive layouts. Accessibility testing remains an ongoing part of development.
2. Language and direction
English, French, Spanish and Arabic routes are provided, with right-to-left layout support for Arabic. Typography and spacing may continue to be refined as the content system grows.
3. Motion and visual presentation
Decorative motion should not be necessary to understand content, and reduced-motion preferences should be respected where motion is used. Text should not rely on colour alone to communicate meaning.
4. Forms
Forms should provide persistent labels, keyboard-operable controls, clear required states, status messages and sufficient touch targets on mobile devices.
5. Report an accessibility issue
If a page or function is difficult to use, submit it through Ideas & Requests and choose the website/content issue category. Include the page, device or assistive technology where useful.
